加拿大华人金丝带协会是加拿大首个由华人发起的、政府注册慈善机构，专注于扶持癌症儿童及其家庭。我们致力于在精神、情绪及经济等方面，为身处困境的家庭提供温暖、支持与鼓励。

协会的所有工作人员均为义工，确保每一份爱心捐赠都能直接用于BC儿童医院的重病儿童家庭。

协会服务的儿童家庭年龄范围为0至18岁。起初，协会主要关注华人重疾儿童，而随着力量的壮大，我们的关怀已扩展至所有族裔的重疾儿童。

截至2025年8月，协会的工作成果包括：

• 直接帮助过 40 个病童家庭

• 通过医院间接支持 上百个家庭

• 捐赠物资与礼品超过 2000 份

• 举办各类公益活动超过 30 场

• 儿童义工参与超过 1000 人次

我们诚挚欢迎社会各界的爱心支持，包括捐赠全新玩具、超市礼品卡或资金资助。

同时，也欢迎志愿者加入我们的队伍，与我们一同守护这些特别困难的家庭。

The Gold Ribbon Society of Canada is the first registered charity initiated by the Chinese community in Canada, dedicated to supporting families with critically ill children. We provide care and encouragement in emotional, psychological, and financial aspects to families facing extraordinary challenges.

All staff and team members are volunteers, ensuring that every donation goes directly to support critically ill children and their families at BC Children’s Hospital.

We serve children aged 0–18. While our work initially focused on critically ill Chinese children, our reach has expanded to include children from all backgrounds.

As of August 2025, our achievements include:

• Directly supporting 40 families with critically ill children

• Indirectly assisting hundreds of families through hospital partnerships

• Distributing over 2,000 gifts and supplies

• Hosting more than 30 charitable events

• Engaging over 1,000 youth volunteers

• ​

We warmly welcome support from the community, including donations of new toys, supermarket gift cards, or financial contributions. Volunteers are also invited to join our team to help these families in need.
