Gold Ribbon Society of Canada comes alongside families and becomes that additional hand of support to walk alongside them through this difficult journey.
Gift Package with love
A gift pack is given to newly diagnosed children to help the children and caregiver adjust to life at the ward from donors.
Birthday Gifts Program
Each child will receive a birthday gift during their birthday month
Parents Support Program
Art and hands-on activities that help parents relax, connect, and receive emotional support.
In a safe and supportive environment, parents can share experiences, reduce stress, and gain strength through community.
Halloween Support Program
During Halloween, Gold Ribbon provides costumes for children, allowing them to experience the joy and excitement of the holiday.
We hope to bring smiles, imagination, and a sense of normalcy during their treatment journey.
Holiday Support Program
During festive seasons, Gold Ribbon provides families with experiences such as Christmas market and light display tickets, offering opportunities to relax and enjoy meaningful time together.
These moments help families find joy, connection, and relief during challenging times.
Food Support Program
Gold Ribbon regularly provides food support to families at the children’s hospital, including instant meals and snacks.
This helps ease the burden of daily meals and offers practical support during treatment.
Hospital Partnership Holiday Program
In collaboration with the oncology department at BC Children’s Hospital, Gold Ribbon organizes holiday events (such as Mid-Autumn Festival and Lunar New Year) for children and families receiving treatment.
These activities bring cultural warmth, joy, and a sense of celebration to families during their hospital journey.
